We will work with a variety of art mediums, including liquid watercolor\/watercolor pencils, oil\/chalk pastels, mixed media, impasto paint as sculpture and printmaking techniques. Students will gain experience with different tools and materials while developing their artistic skills and having fun creating. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eArt history will be integrated into sessions with discussions about relevant artists, styles, and time periods that connect to the projects we are creating. This helps students better understand the context and inspiration behind their work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eStudents are encouraged to bring a sketchbook to every class. The sketchbook will be used for practicing techniques, experimenting with new ideas, and completing optional exercises that can be continued at home.
