Each session is designed around a unique theme, allowing students to explore creative concepts through hands-on projects. We will work with a variety of art mediums, including liquid watercolor/watercolor pencils, oil/chalk pastels, mixed media, impasto paint as sculpture and printmaking techniques. Students will gain experience with different tools and materials while developing their artistic skills and having fun creating.

Art history will be integrated into sessions with discussions about relevant artists, styles, and time periods that connect to the projects we are creating. This helps students better understand the context and inspiration behind their work.

Students are encouraged to bring a sketchbook to every class. The sketchbook will be used for practicing techniques, experimenting with new ideas, and completing optional exercises that can be continued at home. This provides an opportunity to build skills outside of class time and develop a personal artistic style.

In addition, students will have the option to share artwork they have created at home, fostering a supportive environment where they can present their work, receive encouragement, and gain inspiration from their peers.

A weekly update is sent to all enrolled families via email.

17400 Westfield Blvd, Westfield, IN 46074.
