January 9, 2026 – February 27, 2026 @ WWPL

This course introduces students to a wide range of art techniques and mediums, encouraging creativity, self-expression, and technical skill development. Students will explore both traditional and contemporary art forms while learning to analyze and appreciate visual art.

Course Objectives

• Develop foundational skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
• Understand and apply the elements and principles of design
• Experiment with various art materials and techniques
• Explore art history and cultural influences on artistic styles
• Build a personal portfolio showcasing growth and creativity

Classes are held at Westfield Washington Public Library located at 
17400 Westfield Blvd, Westfield, IN 46074.
