WWPL | Friday Art Class: January 9 – February 27, 2026:

This course introduces students to a wide range of art techniques and mediums, encouraging creativity and technical skill development. Students will explore both traditional and contemporary art forms while learning to analyze and appreciate visual art.

We will work with the following mediums:

• Paints (watercolor, acrylic, watercolor pencils)
• Drawing tools (pencils, colored pencils, charcoal, pens, markers)
• Mixed media supplies for collage
• Printmaking tools and surfaces
  

One additional thing we will be adding to this workshop is for everyone to bring a sketchbook to class. In the sketchbook we will be working on various art techniques and for you to try them at home. But also a time to share artwork that students have created at home to share if desired.

Classes are held at Westfield Washington Public Library located at 
17400 Westfield Blvd, Westfield, IN 46074.

Elementary age students have studio time of 10:30 am-12 (noon) on Fridays.
