Thursday’s @ the Craft Room| Starting September 11 | Modern. Abstract. Pop Art! What is the Difference?

Students will gain a better understanding of the difference between modern art, abstract art, and pop art in this 8-week themed class.

Our artists will learn about the different art styles, art history and techniques using different mediums. It will be a very interactive class! We will begin each style learning about the Father of Modern Art, The Father of Abstract Art and the Father of PopArt to start the classes. We will be covering a variety of artists that we will be putting together a binder of artists for students. This will include coloring pages and reference points. 

At the end of the art course, students will work together and create an art show for their family/friends to attend showcasing their projects.

Classes start Thursday, September 11 and run through October 30.

Class time is 1-3 pm at the Craft Room in Sheridan.

Class fee: $160.
